Normally rafter can be  make 10 days for rafting from Kathmandu which begins at Sauli and ends at Chisapani. For this journey you need 19hours of bus drive from Kathmandu which would led to Surkhet. The best possible operation would be from September to December and February to May.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Fly from Kathmandu to Surkhet (718m) 1hour overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Nepalgunj. Upon arrival in Nepalgunj, drive to Surkhet, the starting point of your Karnali River rafting adventure. Check-in at the hotel in Surkhet and rest. In the evening, meet your rafting team and guide for a briefing about the upcoming expedition. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Surkhet.

Day 2 : In the morning after breakfast drive to Karnali rKathmandu to Surkhet

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the put-in point of the Karnali River. Upon reaching the river, meet the rest of your rafting team and receive a safety briefing and instructions from your guide. Start your thrilling rafting journey down the Karnali River.

Navigate through exciting Class III and IV rapids, enjoying the adrenaline rush and stunning scenery along the way. Stop for lunch at a picturesque riverside beach. Continue rafting downstream and set up camp at a scenic spot along the riverbank. Enjoy dinner and overnight camping under the starlit sky.

Day 3 : After breakfast start rafting Put in point 5/6 hours overnight at tent camp

Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy breakfast at the campsite. Resume your rafting adventure downstream, encountering exhilarating rapids and breathtaking landscapes. Stop for lunch at scenic spots along the riverbank and take breaks to swim or relax.

Each day brings new challenges and adventures as you navigate through gorges, canyons, and remote wilderness areas. Camp at different locations each night, immersing yourself in the tranquility of the riverside wilderness. In the evenings, gather around the campfire for delicious meals, storytelling, and stargazing. Your experienced guides will ensure your safety and provide insights into the local culture and natural surroundings throughout the journey.

Day 4 : After breakfast Rafting to Chisapani (325m) 7hrs overnight at tent camp.

After breakfast, continue your rafting journey downstream towards Chisapani. Encounter more thrilling rapids and enjoy the final stretch of the Karnali River expedition. Reach Chisapani and disembark from the rafts. Bid farewell to your rafting team and board the waiting vehicle.

Drive back to Surkhet and check-in at the hotel. Enjoy a well-deserved shower and rest after the exhilarating river adventure. Celebrate your achievements with a farewell dinner and reminisce about your unforgettable journey.

Day 5 : Drive from Chisapni to Nepalgunj 3hrs and after lunch fly to Kathmandu 1hour

Catch your return flight from Nepalgunj to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel and check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, shopping for souvenirs or exploring the bustling streets of Kathmandu. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, accompanied by cultural performances.
