Throughout this drive stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range as well as the sacred Machapuchare. Upon arrival, we unload all the equipment and will be receive a full safety briefing. Have lunch and then Rafting guide will be take to the river starting point ready to begin exciting 3days rafting trip. First day begin with some classIII rapids this is a warm up for the team, after 10/15 minutes will be encountering two big class four rapids i.e. ‘Small Brother’ and ‘Big Brother’. Rafting Guide will be making work hard at doing exercises to work as a team maneuvering the raft efficiently. After scouting the rapid, the safety kayaks will go first then the raft. Soon after encountering these two big rapids we will reach the Modi Khola confluence where we will choose the beach for the evening campsite. The rafts and one raft team prepares dinner and rum punch whilst the others play or relax and take in the scenery
Once the rafts are packed we start down the river for a day mixed with adrenaline calm and spectacular scenery including views of mountain range like Annapurnasouth and Himachuli. Tackle many class III sections and the challenging class IV named REFUND. This section of river is abundant with vines, wildlife and lush vegetation hanging from the cliff faces. Similar to before, we can get to Kathmandu either by road or flight. The classic option is to take a bus or a private vehicle and drive along the Prithivi highway. This route involves passing by Damauli, Muglin and Kurintar and arriving at Kathmandu in 5-6 hours. If you wish to go for a flight instead, then you’ll get to enjoy the magnificent aerial views of the Annapurna region. You’ll also arrive at Kathmandu in just half an hour, which means a full day to spend in the capital as you like. In the evening, we will have traditional Nepali cuisine as farewell dinner at a restaurant.
The Kali Gandaki River features mostly Class III to IV rapids, suitable for both beginner and intermediate rafters. However, some sections may reach Class V during the monsoon season, offering a more challenging experience.
